After giving Wenee a taste of Losing You a few weeks ago, Wonho is officially back on the music scene with debut single "Open Mind".
The video teaser for Open Mind was enough to know what we were going to get into. Wonho doing what a lot of charismatic male soloists do and that is show how very sensual they can be, well-toned bodies in tight clothes with plenty of eye-gazing in front of the camera. Of course you can't ignore the smooth choreography.
It's good to see Wonho performing again. He's looking great, showing plenty of confidence and charisma. He's doing what he does best and enjoying it. I'm interested to see how the rest of the album sounds. Listening to it right now as I type and generally it's a good debut solo album. Plays it safe with what Wonho can do. You have songs that show his emotional sincerity but also some suave, club songs.
I see an English and Korean version of Losing You and Open Mind. Losing You in Korean was something I did wish for previously and voila. Thank you Wonho. Look forward to more music from you.
