WANNA ONE alumni Bae Jinyoung debuts in a new group from C9 Entertainment called CIX aka Complete In X. They released their first single Movie Star a few days ago and earned their first music show win in the process.
CIX's debut song has some funk and smooth dance to go with the music. Title is self-explanatory and complimenting a dream girl on how she looks like a movie star. The particular move when they say the line, "She looks like a movie star" is pure style and a way to get anyone's attention while performing.
The other songs on the mini album are enjoyable as well. There's a throwback to 80s-90s pop in the track Imagine as well as a mellow ballad The One. The MV is a box type and there's much focus on the choreography during the set changes, as well as plenty of visuals to analyse.
