ATEEZ's Treasure adventure continues in their latest comeback.
A few weeks earlier, ATINY were given the chance to vote on ATEEZ's next comeback single via MyMusicTaste. Naturally the results alternated over the voting period, however both songs are just as catchy and very ATEEZ-sounding.
Illusion is cute, colourful, mostly set on a flying ship and taking ATINY to places. It sounds a little like a follow-up to Treasure the more I listen to the melody.
Wave won the final vote and my first thought was, "This sounds like a KARD song" because of the tropical beat. Still it makes a great summer bop if that is what you are looking for. Not sure about the Hakuna Matata ya though and who wanted to add that in. It seems out of place/not needed. On the other hand it then leads to the beat change in the song and things speed up. It does indeed get you on your feet but so does Illusion.
The rest of the songs on this mini album are actually rather nice. Still carries that ATEEZ sound that might make you think you have heard the tunes from previous songs in their earlier discography.
