[MUSIC ROUNDUP] The Rose, WANNA ONE + BTS

The Rose release a special MV for one of their newer songs, Wanna One return with a new mini album plus BTS release a new dance practice video and another cover as part of their new FESTA.

Light - WANNA ONE

The title track for this current comeback and it's about up close and personal feelings, the need to be lit up by the other person and whether they feel the same. It's much slower than the likes of their previous title songs and not as jumpy. Choreography here is much smoother which goes well with the music's pace. The other 5 songs on the mini album have the members in units and all produced by different artists whose styles are distinguishable if you have some familiarity with their music.

WANNA ONE's Light performance from X-Con can be viewed below.

Bangtan's Golden Disk Awards 2018 Dance Practice

BTS FESTA presents a choreography video that lasts a mind-blowing 10 minutes and it was worth watching. This was in preparation for Golden Disk Awards where the group performed DNA and Not Today with their back-up dancers to perform an epic stage performance.

Also, today Kim Seokjin blesses everyone with a cover of a Korean folk song "Autumn Outside The Post Office" by Yoon Do Hyun [link to original version]. Kim Jaehwan from Wanna One also covered this song and did it just as wonderfully. Waiting outside the post office on an Autumn day and reflecting quietly, zoning out - that's what I tend to do.

I.L.U - The Rose

Forgot to include this in a previous post but The Rose released a special MV for I.L.U. Completely in black and white and to match how footage appears on actual film, the cinematography matches the sombre feel of the song. There are stunning visuals of the group just walking slowly or sitting and pondering quietly as they pour their heart out in each lyric.
