[SONG REVIEW] Stray Kids and &TEAM

HYBE's &TEAM come back with War Cry and hello Stray Kids, it's been a while for OP.

The title track for Stray Kids's newest album 樂-STAR (Rock Star) is LALALALA and let's just say the song hit me in the face and woke me up instantly.   I love the theatricality in the video and the little storyline featuring the young drummer boys who are on stage.  I have noticed with the groups who competed on on Kingdom Legendary War they have gone all out and experimented with making great stages.  Stray Kids are doing just that.

LALALALA would be absolutely perfect for a end of year show or a concert.  Everyone is gathering together to party or dance together.  Imagine being on a pirate ship with Stray Kids and having the time of your life and not worrying about anything.  The TikTok challenges are already popping up amongst the Kpop idols and the fans.

You can watch the MV below.

Dance Practice video

&TEAM have released their first album which contains the songs since debut in both Japanese and Korean, re-recordings of songs used in &AUDITION plus newer tracks which includes their latest title song "War Cry." The guitar shred opening gives you a good flavour of what to expect in the song.  LUNE who are currently following the webtoon "Dark Moon The Grey City" may recognise one particular figure in the video.  The production in the video is very top notch and it's always a delight to see their werewolf concept/storyline being used wisely.

It's nice to see Nicholas get to shine in the centre with more lines.  Hope this will happen to Fuma as well in the future.

EDIT 17/11/2023: The dance practice video just dropped and you can hear their feet stomping on the floor.
