[SONG ROUNDUP] SF9 + EVEN OF DAY

SF9 release a new mini album after their journey in Kingdom Legendary War and DAY6 sub unit Even of Day are back to give us more emotions.

Even of Day's Right Through Me is about heartache and losing something or someone you care about and the video consists of three different scenarios featuring the members as their bonds come to an end.    DAY6 always know how to reach to many people's inner core with their music and their facial expressions in videos or stages.

Fresh from competing on Kingdom Legendary War, SF9 share their new single Tear Drop.  Their new mini album also features their Kingdom finals song "Believer." I love this mature concept that follows on from the likes of Now Or Never and Good Guy and think it suits the group rather nicely.  The opening intro with the light 'drops' is pretty and the chorus infectious.  Just a simple hoo hoo is enough to stay in my head when it repeats more than three times.

Tear Drop's MV has a very simple look.  Starting in monochrome before slowing going into colour, the group show their visual features from start to finish and you see a glimpse of the choreography here and there when the chorus starts.

While the MV for Tear Drop was filmed before they started their journey on Kingdom, it still carries some charisma and sensuality in the choreography.  Indeed the newer choreography that Taeyang implemented after Kingdom was eye-catching and definitely showing SF9's 'colour'.  A lot of the groups on that show certainly grew as performers.
