Hwang Minhyun celebrated his birthday today (09 August 2020) and gifted fans with a cover of a Mandarin song.
Miss You 3000 was originally sung by Taiwanese rock band 831 and from the title it's self-explanatory. Quite a sad song about missing your special person very deeply. It's a melodic ballad and definitely radio friendly if you want to chill, embrace your emotions quietly.
Minhyun's cover was impressive after listening to the original (the band even released another version in Cantonese ). His voice manages to capture the meaning of the song and bring out the sadness effectively and when he looks directly at the camera it is almost as if he really is singing into your soul.
