[MUSIC ROUNDUP] Stray Kids + MONSTA X

MONSTA X return with their new mini album Fantasia (also the name of their title track) and Stray Kids release an MV for TOP (Japanese version).

Hello MONSTA X, it has been a while. In all fairness, I lost track when they were promoting their first English language album and feeling the sadness of Wonho leaving last year. But does this stop any Monbebe from supporting all members either way? Of course not.

Fantasia is undoubtedly a party track. If this is played in an outdoor festival it would be magnificent. The chorus reminds me a little of another non-title track "Rodeo" and the music overall simply gets you dancing. The mix of different coloured suits on the guys, the intense gazes, male backup dancers who are shirtless but hiding their faces along with the graceful female dancers in the background...well it's like a party in a grand hall. Can you survive?

TOP - Stray Kids

Stray Kids performed the opening and ending theme for Anime series Tower Of God, which is based on a webtoon/web Manhwa of the same name. They released an English, Korean and Japanese version of these songs. Today the group dropped the MV for the Japanese version of TOP and it goes fast. It's very futuristic with the space ship scenes and like the song itself, the video moves very quickly. Many Anime opening themes have often fallen on the epic, power-driven side of music and can motivate you when done right. TOP does just that.

P.S. Still trying to absorb Felix's dyed hair, eyelashes and eyebrows in this video
