Faves at Gayo Daejun + Gayo Daechukje 2018

I didn't watch the live streams for this since I've been utterly sidetracked with my current work and other things so have had to catch up on performances later on. This also includes MAMA which I know is often roasted for many reasons but when there are fierce performances, they are worth the watch.

Will edit further when I can...

I realise I seldom post about many artists from 'the big three' labels [aside from the odd SM or JYPE and I used to be a regular VIP] but I can't deny the catchiness of YG girl group Blackpink's music when it strikes hard. This also applies to the now defunct 2NE1 who had a massive following. Blackpink and Jennie's SOLO stage at SBS Gayo Daejun was electrifying and shows they're getting bigger.

GOT7's Lullaby featuring a dance break by 97liners. By far their most successful single in terms of wins on music shows.

The group's KBS Song Festival performance has no Mark included as he had to sit out of this performance due to an injury.

WANNA ONE's stage at Gayo Daejun featuring Light and Boomerang. Looking good in red suits here.

With their KBS Song Festival stage it was rather emotional with 12th Star and I.P.U. Their expressions say it all. They know it's nearly over and it's time to close WANNA ONE's curtains.

Special stage featuring two members from MONSTA X, WANNA ONE and SEVENTEEN. A cover of 2PM's very early classic Again & Again [dance MV here].

MONSTA X performing Shoot Out at SBS Gayo Daejun. This camerawork does not do justice on the performance.

Perhaps enjoy a fancam which focuses on all members equally and has better sound.

But there is also the KBS Song Festival performance. Better camerawork for sure.

JYP Nation special stage at KBS Song Festival was surprisingly fun. Enjoyed the team ups and majority of the members within each group getting to shine in their own spotlight.

Bangtan's special KBS Song Festival 2018 stage - I found it better than their Gayo marathon/mash up on Christmas Day to be honest. They sounded better and less fatigued. Appreciating the solo stages to cover the Love Yourself saga and finishing up with Fake Love. Every single person got to shine for a minute or two. Let's respect that.
