[SONG ROUNDUP] J-Hope + WANNA ONE

Hixtape finally arrived to the delight of many ARMYs and Wanna One give the Wannables a special track prior to the release of their second mini album.

Daydream

Daydream is the first song to be released from J-Hope's long awaited mixtape "Hope World." The song's MV is very colourful and a bit of this world, yet it still has that J-Hope vibe. Naturally, the listener can see what the song talks about from reading the lyrics translation on the MV. Wishing for something certainly means daydreaming and trying to reach for it. I've had the 'wishing on a sky, wishing on a scar' stuck in my head since first listening. The mixtape in general is very J-Hope when you listen from start to finish and it's great to see what J-Hope can offer his listeners with a mixtape of his own at long last.

EDIT Ah, as soon as I published this post J-Hope has another MV up for Airplane. I'm feeling a little dizzy when the camera moves in circles around Hobie but he looks great in each scene. Airplane is self-explanatory and it talks about J-Hope's travels around the world, feeling close to the clouds and not giving a shit about those who hate him.

I P U - Wanna One

Before the Wannables can grab their hands on the second mini album, Wanna One have just released the MV for a special track named 'I Promise You/IPU.' The video has a lovely mix of warm colours and darker suits which give a slightly more charismatic aura. Both these colour schemes compliment the choreography scenes in the video. Singing has spread even to the Rappers of the group where for example Woojin and Daniel sing a little this time round. I Promise You is about appreciating a person who stood by the guys' side and gave them life. This is going to sound great in a concert. No idea on what to expect from the album itself so let's hope there will be some amazing tunes to indulge ourselves with.
